Reddit documents two organic community image surfaces with fixed dimensions: banners and community icons. Its banner guidance varies by goal—at least 1600×480 pixels in the general community guide, 4000×192 for filling all monitors, or at least 1072×128 desktop and 1080×128 mobile in Reddit Help. For the square community icon, 500×500 is called optimal in Reddit's official community guide.
