QR Code Generator
Create a QR code for a link, WiFi network, contact card, email, phone number, or any text. Customize the colors, add your logo, and download it as PNG, SVG, or a print-ready PDF — free, no signup, and the code never expires.
Static code — the destination is encoded in the image itself, so it never expires and needs no account. SVG and PDF are vector formats, print-ready at any size.
Put this QR code on a real design
Design the flyer, menu, or business card the code goes on — with AI, on a real canvas you control.

Pick what the code should do — open a website, join a WiFi network, save a contact, start an email, call or text a number, or show plain text — and fill in the details above. The code updates live as you type. Then style it: choose colors or a gradient, pick a pattern and eye shape, and optionally drop in your logo. When the preview shows "Scans reliably", download it in the format you need. That is the whole process — no account, no trial, no watermark.
Static vs. dynamic QR codes — and why ours never expire
A static QR code encodes your destination directly in the image. Once you download it, it works forever: there is no server between the scan and the destination, nothing to renew, and nothing that can be turned off. A dynamic QR code instead points to a redirect service that forwards scanners to your destination — which lets the provider count scans and change the target later, but also means the code dies the moment you stop paying or the service shuts down. Many "free" generators quietly produce dynamic codes and then expire them after a trial, breaking codes already printed on menus, flyers, and packaging. Every code this tool generates is static. It never expires because there is nothing to expire.
Adding a logo without breaking the code
QR codes carry built-in redundancy called error correction, rated from level L (about 7% of the code can be damaged or covered) up to level H (about 30%). A centered logo covers part of the data, so it only works when error correction is high enough to compensate. When you upload a logo here, the tool automatically raises error correction to level H and then verifies the styled result by actually decoding it before letting you download — so you never print a code that looks great but does not scan. If you skip the logo, you can pick the level yourself: higher levels make denser codes that scan more reliably when damaged, lower levels make simpler codes that scan from further away.
Which format should you download?
PNG is right for screens and quick placement in documents — pick a size up to 4096 pixels for large prints. SVG is a vector format: it scales to any size with no quality loss, which makes it the best choice for professional printing and design tools. PDF wraps the same vector artwork in a print-ready page, convenient to hand straight to a print shop. For anything physical — posters, table tents, product packaging — use SVG or PDF and keep strong contrast between the code and its background.
Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. This tool generates static QR codes: the destination is encoded in the image itself, with no redirect server involved. The code works forever, whether or not this website exists tomorrow.
Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes — free to generate and free to download in every format, including SVG and PDF. No signup, no trial, no watermark, and no paywall on downloads.
Can I add a logo to my QR code?
Yes. Upload a PNG, JPEG, SVG, or WebP logo and it is placed in the center of the code. Error correction is raised to the highest level automatically, and the result is verified as scannable before you can download it.
Why does my QR code fail the scannability check?
The most common causes are low contrast between the code and background colors, a gradient that gets too light, or a logo covering too much of the code. Darken the code color, lighten the background, or remove the gradient or logo and check again.
What is the difference between a static and dynamic QR code?
A static code encodes the destination directly in the image and never expires. A dynamic code points to a redirect service, which enables scan tracking and destination changes but stops working if the service shuts down or you stop paying. This tool generates static codes only.
Can I track scans of my QR code?
Not with a static code — scan tracking requires a dynamic redirect service. If you need rough measurement for a URL code, point it at a link with UTM parameters and read the results in your website analytics.
