Skill bars and donut charts photograph well and parse terribly. Applicant tracking software reads a five-segment proficiency dial as nothing at all, so treat these as the version you hand across a table, email to a hiring manager directly, or attach behind a referral — and keep a plain twin for the portal. Where they earn their place: a career with an obvious shape, split across domains, that a paragraph flattens.
